An informed source at Manchester United, a rival in the English Premier League, revealed on Thursday that striker Cristiano Ronaldo will not travel with the team on the upcoming pre-season tour to Thailand and Australia after he got a break to finish some family matters.



The 37-year-old Portuguese star's future at Old Trafford has become a source of great speculation and rumors after reports that he informed the club of his desire to leave to play in the Champions League next season.

The source confirmed that the Portuguese international, who has one year left on his contract, is not for sale.

Manchester United's next matches


  • Man United will begin their overseas tour by facing Liverpool in Bangkok on July 12, before meeting Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace, and will also play Aston Villa in Perth on July 23.
